About this deal

The blademasters obsessed in pain (provoked or suffered) become Myrmidesh Painbringers, while those that form a pact with lesser demons of Slaanesh share their mortal body with those essences and are called Symbaresh. Ironclad – Still good to help protect and transport the Thunderers plus heroes. The Ironclad in this list is also a great defensive piece to disrupt your opponents charges with the great Endrinwork ”The Last Word” and Supremacy mine! Brett: Slaves to Darkness is currently the most played faction in AoS, Legion of the First Prince, though, isn’t being taken as often as some others. So it’s refreshing to see a very different list with a mix of units seen often and some less common ones (including BeLakor himself). Chaos Maruader Horseman and the Warshrine make a return with the more common Chaos Knights (and the OP Mark of Nurgle – how do you kill these things), Corvus Cabal and Chosen. Everything fits into a Battle Regiment to try and control priority. With 2 Chaos Sorceror Lords and Belakor, the Soulscream Bridge is a good investment to overcome the slow movement of the Chosen. I wouldn’t say it’s a good box but that has more to do with the army itself being so dire. If you’re dedicated to starting the army go for it. Grab Sigvald and a Lord of Pain, and pad out your roster with more units and this is a good start. If not, skip it. Final Verdict: Good Value/Skip

P.S. Why are 20 wounds worth of mortal wound dealing, speedy Blissbarb Seekers only 20 points more than 11 blissbarb archers? *sigh*Unfortunately almost every other new unit released in this launch have acceptable rules but atrocious points costs that makes them almost unplayable currently. The Deathrattle Skeletons are a bit of a miss, but not entirely. While I don’t care for them as much as Deadwalker Zombies or Dire Wolves I think they have value, especially if you intend to play a more casual game. Get a Necromancer or Wight Lord to go with them and they’ll hold their own just fine. Final Verdict: Must-buy Lumineth Realm-Lords – Vanari Shining Host Slaanesh has been imprisoned since the Age of Myth by the Aelven Pantheon (Tyrion, Teclis, Malerion and Morathi) in the Hidden Gloaming, a sub-realm between Hysh, the realm of Light, and Ulgu, the Realm of Shadow.

Blissbarb Archers are the footsoldiers of the Slaanesh Sybarites. They are the lowest of Slaanesh's mortal devotees, and as such are not yet permitted by their domineering champions to engage in the glory of hand-to-hand combat. As such, they take up the task of bringing pain and destruction to the enemy from afar, becoming nimble archers. [1a]There have been a few bonus rules released to try and give Nighthaunt a boost, including most recently adding sub-factions in the form of Processions and adding in the Krulghast Cruciator in Broken Realms: Be’lakor. Nothing ever really worked, so we waited with bated breath to see if the warscroll cards in Arena of Shades would help out the most fragile Death faction out there. And folks? It ain’t lookin’ too grand. To combat this, the decision has been made to publish the top three without comments. Where possible, writers will then revisit in the future to add comments if they feel its necessary.
